Cordyceps Sinesis Mushroom (Keedajadi)
Cordyceps Sinesis Mushroom (Keedajadi)
Cordyceps sinensis, commonly referred to as the caterpillar fungus, is among the most highly valued medicinal mushrooms in traditional Chinese and Tibetan medicine. Renowned for its potent health-promoting properties, it has been used for centuries to enhance endurance, strengthen the immune system, and support respiratory function. This rare fungus grows naturally at high elevations—typically between 14,000 and 17,000 feet—mainly in the Himalayan region and the Tibetan Plateau.
Unlike Cordyceps militaris, which can be cultivated and is commonly found in areas such as Bhutan, China, and Tibet, Cordyceps sinensis grows exclusively in the wild and is far more challenging to cultivate.

We take pride in the hard work that goes into our mushroom farm (Planet Mushroom) in Uttarakhand! From mixing mycelium and substrate to careful monitoring and harvesting the mature mushrooms, our team puts in long hours to ensure the best possible product.
Our mushroom farming process starts with mixing spores or mycelium with a substrate made of organic materials. It's then left to colonize in a warm, humid environment for several weeks before moving to the fruiting stage.
Our workers put their all into every step of the process. Here in this video we take you behind the scenes of our mushroom farm (Planet Mushroom) and show you the process of how mushrooms are grown.
